Jandy pool light repair and troubleshooting.
WaterColors and related LED systems can fail at the fixture or elsewhere in the power and control path. We troubleshoot the complete system before recommending replacement.
Common Jandy pool-light problems
Dark fixture
Verify protection, power, transformer output, relay or switching before assuming the underwater light failed.
Colors out of sync
Multiple color lights may lose synchronization because of fixture, relay, switching or automation issues.
GFCI trips
Water intrusion, cord damage, fixture faults and other ground-fault conditions should be diagnosed rather than bypassed.
Replacement compatibility
Identify voltage, niche or fitting, transformer and controls before choosing a replacement.
The fixture is only one part of the pool-light system.
A Jandy light may be controlled through switches, relays or automation and may share a transformer or protection device with other equipment. The failure path should be tested from power and protection through the fixture.
